Bale-Worker 1 Year Birthday
24 June @ 3:33 pm - 10:00 pm
Who would believe that a whole year cycle has already passed since we launched our first 3 beers. Much has been learned.
On this winter solstice we gather to celebrate not only a year of Bale-Worker beers, but also a year of your support through our joy and toils.
We will be launching 3 new beers as well as having $5 pot specials on some of our current beers throughout the night.
We are launching:
Maillard’s Imperial Honey Stout.
Maillard’s Imperial Honey Stout is truely a braggot, half mead-half beer. Black as the night and rolling in at a steady 12%. This velvet toned denizen was created by darkening the honey through Maillard’s reaction (careful boiling for a few hours) before adding it to the brew. The honey itself, a wild flower honey, was obtained from a friend of the brewery in the north east of Melbourne. Our grain bill included some of Gladfeilds finest traditional ale, crystal and roasted malts. Finally the beer was lightly hopped with Cascade and Chinook grown by Bale-Worker Project Brewery. To our knowledge this is the first Malliard reacted braggot ever made. Limitted bottles will be available, 20 to be precise. 10 will be released each month after the launch. Bottle and tap Maillards will be available after sundown on the night.
We encourage celebrants to bring dinner or partake in the culanary services provided by the great many resurants and eat out providers in moorabbin and surounding area.
Further details to come.
We hope to see you all there.
